In order to celebrate their children's successful graduation, share their joy, and witness their growth, the Parents Committee of an excellent Shanghai School, recently organized a special graduation event for the children at the Six Arts Cultural Park.
On June 22nd at noon, parents and children arrived at the Six Arts Museum Hotel to check in and after a short rest, began their exciting graduation activities.
Amazed by the ancient meets modern architecture and east meets west decoration of the Six Arts - themed Papa Johns and DQ, everyone enjoyed a happy lunch, laughing and talking while enjoying the food, and looking forward to the cultural and experiential activities planned for the afternoon.
The Six Arts Museum is known for its astonishing collection of ancient folk artifacts. The celebrating parents and school children thoroughly enjoyed the museum tour explanations and stories provided by the museum’s professional guides, and they were pleasantly surprised that they were allowed to get up close and actually touch many of the traditional pieces in the collection. The children were also busily engaged in stamping their museum passports with chops from each of the museum’s galleries, as well as creating memories and taking photos with their parents and classmates.
Six Arts DIY Handicrafts teachers then prepared a fun and educational weaving hands-on experience for the children. Colorful strips of paper were woven by the children's skillful hands and turned into cute depictions of auspicious animals such as lions.
Finally, a sumptuous dinner was held at the Six Arts Banquet Hall where parents and children shared memories of the children's youthful years and witnessing of their growth. This graduation activity at the Six Arts Cultural Park created beautiful memories to cherish for both parents and children alike. With the help of such wonderful parents, we are confident that the children will continue to courageously and confidently embrace their future.
