Six Arts recently had the pleasure of hosting fourth grade students and teachers from Suzhou Singapore International School who visited our museum to supplement their classroom learning about the importance of preserving cultural heritage.

Located in Suzhou and only an hour drive from downtown Shanghai, the Six Arts Museum has served as a wonderful platform for students of nearby schools to learn about traditional Chinese culture and folk art.

Amazed by the large collection of folk art, the SSIS students and teachers were fully immersed in experiencing Chinese culture and they enjoyed being able to touch and interact with every piece in the museum.
精美的展品引发了孩子们浓厚的兴趣
积极地提问并等候讲解员的解说
在完成博物馆护照的敲章任务后
也获得了值得收藏的文创小礼物
The exhibits aroused the children’s curiosity prompting them to ask many questions and they patiently waited for our guide’s commentary.
They especially enjoyed finding the stamps for their Six Arts Museum passports and were rewarded with a gift for successfully collecting each stamp.

After enjoying lunch together, the students ended their visit with a special DIY activity where they had the opportunity to create their very own Door Gods, just like the ones they saw in the museum. It was wonderful way for them to further engage in traditional Chinese culture.
