On the first day of 2022, the much-anticipated Most Beautiful Public Cultural Space Competition winners were announced.
With the guidance of the Public Service Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Committee of Shanghai Citizens Culture Festival, the competition was organized by the Shanghai Administration of Culture and Tourism and Shanghai Pudong New Area Government.

Last year, Six Arts Museum took part in the Yangtze River Delta’s Public Cultural Space Creative Design Competition and won the title of One Hundred Best Public Cultural Spaces (Culture and Museum Artistic Space Category).

Launched in 2018, the competition is expected to set a standard for the nation’s integrated development of public culture, establish a platform for creating public cultural spaces, accumulate “design strength” and enable the creative design industry to improve public culture and life.
今年的大赛在扩大赛事覆盖地域后

有1292个空间案例参赛角逐
空间数量较2020年翻了两番
最终302个空间荣获佳绩
This year, the competition was extended nationwide and received 1,292 submissions from across the country, twice the number of applications as 2020.

Guests at the Six Arts Museum Hotel enjoy a captivating collection of museum quality ancient hand-crafted carvings, paintings, architectural pieces and other fabulous works of art; all colorfully displayed in original, inspirational and creative ways. Each of the hotel’s ancient artworks were thoughtfully collected piece by piece by the museum’s American founder and the museum’s Chinese curator over the past 40 years, and personally selected for inclusion in the modern hotel’s collection by the founder’s sister, a famous American interior designer.
