This Spring Festival, we were happy to welcome many families at Six Arts who celebrated the arrival of the Year of the Tiger together with us and enjoyed a week full of Culture DIY activities!

Children, with their Six Arts passports in hand, loved exploring the museum and made sure to find each and every chop for their passport as they learned about traditional Chinese folk art. They also had a chance to participate in the daily Culture DIY activities prepared by Yanzi, our on-site instructor.

藤编小船看似简单，实则考验技术
彩绘泥虎和老虎漆箱带来虎年好运气……
Children wrote couplets, painted cute pictures on the rattle-drums, wove rattan boats, painted clay tigers and lacquer boxes,......

Our on-site artist, Mr. Zhu Haiming, did custom calligraphy and paintings which were wonderful personalized gifts to take home.

Both parents and children joined in the activities and enjoyed their time together – plenty of fun doing handicrafts with the artistic backdrop of the Six Arts Souvenir Shop.
