蚌埠学院是一所以工为主、多学科协调发展的省属应用型本科高校。学校举办高等教育始于1978年，学校是安徽省硕士学位授予重点立项建设单位、教育部科学工作能力提升计划（百千万工程）示范建设高校。
On April 14, 2026, faculty and students from Bengbu University visited Six Arts Museum for an immersive journey into folk art, experiencing firsthand the richness of traditional cultural heritage.
Bengbu University is a full-time provincial university which focuses on industry disciplines and develops in a multi-disciplinary way. The establishment of its higher education can be traced back to 1978. The university is a key institution in Anhui Province recognized for awarding master’s degrees, a demonstration university for the Ministry of Education’s Science and Innovation Capacity Building Program (the “Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand” Project).
