近日，我国竹编艺术泰斗徐华铛先生应钱继淮先生引荐，亲临苏州黎里古镇六悦博物馆。年逾八旬的徐老以深厚的学术积淀与实操经验，对馆藏竹编器物进行了系统鉴定。此次深度交流促成重要合作意向——徐老意为六悦博物馆的竹编珍品编纂专著，以学术之力激活非遗生命力。
徐华铛生于1944年，深耕中国传统工艺研究与创作六十余载。他师从中国工艺美术大师俞樟根，早年主持设计数百件竹编艺术品，其中“六和塔”、“花塔”等作品被海外誉为“东方珍宝”。著述等身是他的真实写照——累计出版《中国竹艺术》《中国的龙》《中国古塔》等专著118部，超800万字，插图逾1.5万幅，涵盖竹编、木雕、根雕、彩塑等十余类非遗领域。
At Qian Jihuai's invitation, China's bamboo weaving grand master Xu Huadang visited Suzhou's Six Arts Museum. Drawing on 60 years' expertise, he appraised the museum's bamboo collection, cementing a collaboration to author a scholarly monograph reviving this ICH.
Born in 1944, Xu has dedicated over 60 years to researching and creating Chinese traditional crafts. Apprenticed to Yu Zhanggen, he designed hundreds of bamboo artworks, including internationally acclaimed pieces like the Six Harmonies Pagoda and Floral Pagoda. His scholarly output is staggering: 118 monographs , covering bamboo weaving, wood carving, root sculpture, and over 10 ICH categories.
